The bottom line
How we charge
- No minimum number of hours required to book with Mr Move.
- Billable hours: we start the clock on arrival, and stop the clock when you sign off at the end of your move – we charge in ½ hour blocks plus a call out fee.
- Call out fee: ½ of the hourly rate for locations with 15 kms of the CBD for all moving and packing jobs – otherwise please call us for a quote.
- Free use of boxes for all moves by Mr Move.
- Charges listed are GST inclusive.
The small stuff
- Credit cards have a 2.3% charge added on – AMEX 2.9%.
- Road tolls, parking fines (for parking under your instruction) and parking fees will be charged to you.
- There is a surcharge of $33 for precision items (very large or extra heavy items), and $55 for upright pianos moves.
- If you have an extra delicate item, we can shrink wrap it at a charge of $11 per item.
- Overtime may be charged for moves lasting more than 8 ½ hours at a rate of 15%.
